Ross and Marshall Von Erich may be heading to a major wrestler company soon.
Marshall said that a major promotion for the brothers is “in the works” on the first episode of The Von Erichs Podcast, but he couldn’t say much more. He said that both he and Ross had spoken to “both companies.”
Marshall said:
“Ross, and I, at the beginning, had the opportunity to go to WWE for a tryout. We didn’t think it was the right time, because once you go you’re showing off your best and we didn’t feel that we were at our very best yet.
Marshall said that he feels the group is now ready to perform in front of a major organization. He also said that he is confident it could happen soon.
“Right now, we feel polished and ready and we could wrestle anywhere. I feel it’s going to happen, and it will soon. This is the calm before the storm. We’ve had conversations with companies and other stuff. So we’re just waiting to see where it goes. But it feels like a calm before the storm because I have a feeling that it’s soon. It’s soon. “I’d love to tell you more, but there are some things I can’t talk about just yet.”
The Von Erichs were full-time wrestlers with Pro Wrestling NOAH between the summer of 2012 and late 2013. In 2019, they signed with MLW and wrestled for three years. They won the tag titles of the promotion once and fought with The Dynasty and The New Era Hart Foundation. They made their AEW debut at Winter is Coming in 2023, and also wrestled in several ROH tapes in Texas during that month. The Von Erichs teamed up with Dusty Rhodes for the Rampage episode on February 16 in Cedar Park earlier this year.
