Update on Vince McMahon’s TKO stock ownership in todays Wrestling news

Vince McMahon, who was mentioned in an interview last Thursday, is still a TKO shareholder. A regulatory filing filed by the SEC on Thursday shows how much he owns.

According to a SEC 13G, McMahon currently holds 8,021,405 of the shares as of September 30, this year. The filing was made because he exceeded 5% ownership in a certain class of stock, which is required to be disclosed. In this case, he owns 9.88% of the class A stock. However, his share of all TKO shares is below 5%. He has no voting right.

Mark Shapiro, TKO’s chief operating officer, told CNBC that he had breakfast recently with the former TKO Chairman “just to check in”, following the recent Netflix release of the docuseries. He said that he had not heard from McMahon and “wanted” to know where he stood with everything. He said that McMahon was still a stockholder, but was not involved with any TKO business. Nor was he asked for his opinion. He said McMahon was “more positive than ever” about the direction WWE is taking, but he specifically stated that he wasn’t questioned for his opinion.

McMahon is still under federal investigation after the Wall Street Journal exposed the hush money scandal. The current sexual misconduct suit against him by Janel grant has been put on hold while the federal case continues.

Recent reports have suggested that McMahon plans to launch a company with several former WWE executives.
