Two wrestlers qualify for ROH Final Battle TV title match in todays Wrestling news
Two of the six Survival of the Fittest competitors have been set
The first two wrestlers qualified for the six-way Survival of the Fittest Match to crown a ROH TV champion at Final Battle.
Dalton Castle & Komander won both qualifying bouts in Thursday’s Ring of Honor TV Episode to advance to the Survival of the Fittest Match that will determine a ROH World Television Champion during the Final Battle on Friday, December 15, on Honor Club.
Castle defeated Evil Uno of The Dark Order in order to qualify. Komander beat Gringo Loco and advanced to the Survival of the Fittest 6-way.
The ROH will continue to broadcast qualifying matches in the lead-up to the December 15 pay per view where a new champion is crowned.
Samoa Joe vacated the ROH TV title on the November 8, AEW Dynamite episode when he declared that he would give up the title in order to focus on MJF’s AEW World Championship. MJF will defend his AEW title against Joe on Saturday, December 30, at AEW’s Worlds End.
Final Battle will also feature a Women’s World Title match, as Athena Starkz will defend her title against Billie Starkz.
