Roman Reigns, the undisputed Universal Champion, will appear on Friday, December 15, SmackDown. This will be his first appearance on WWE programming after defeating LA Knight in Crown Jewel and retaining his title on November 4, his first appearance on WWE programming. Reigns will also be advertised for the January 5, and January 19, SmackDown shows.
Next week, the United States title contenders’ tournament will continue with two first-round matches.
Kevin Owens will compete against Austin Theory in a tournament match, while Grayson Waller takes on an unannounced NXT superstar in the other. The winners of the tournament will meet each other at a later time in the semifinals.
