Trish Stratus, who is from Toronto, will play a part in WWE Money in the Bank.
The Toronto Sun announced today that Stratus would be the host for Money in the Bank 2024. This Saturday, the event will take place at Scotiabank Arena. The WWE Hall of Famer confirmed the news on social media.
The Scotiabank Arena hosted Stratus’ match with Charlotte Flair during SummerSlam 2019 Stratus was thought to be retiring at the time. However, she returned to WWE in 2023 for an extended run with Becky Lynch and a feud. She hasn’t competed in the WWE ring since losing a steel cage match to Becky Lynch at WWE Payback in September last year.
Stratus was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame as a seven-time WWE Women’s Champion in 2013.
Money in the Bank will be streamed live on Peacock/WWE Network on Saturday at 7 p.m. Eastern Time. A two-hour preshow will precede the event.
