On Saturday, the AEW Collision will determine the next top contenders for AEW Trio titles. A title match at All In this month is on the line.
Christian Cage, the current titleholder (seen in the above picture) announced on Wednesday’s Dynamite that the Bang Bang Gang would face the House of Black on Saturday. The winners will then face Cage’s Patriarchy during this month’s pay per view at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Cage added that he would be the special referee of the match to ensure fairness.
The Bang Bang Gang relinquished the titles last month after Jay White became injured. The group assumed Juice could take his place to defend the titles Freebird style. AEW’s Christopher Daniels did not go for it, and stripped the titles. The titles were then put up in a match that The Patriarchy fought against Robinson & The Gunns and won.
Cage has recently gotten involved in Black’s business. The House of Black (Malakai Black & Buddy Matthews) are also pursuing the titles. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn won the Trios titles in 2023 for 175 days.
This is the only match and segment announced for this Saturday in Arlington, Texas:
- House of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews & Brody King) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson & The Gunns) with Christian Cage as special referee in a no. 1 contenders match for the Trios titles
