Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will meet again for the TNT Championship.
Copeland, armed with a chair and a mission to clean up the house, arrived as The Patriarchy was heading up the ramp following their assault on Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia in Dynamite. Cage fled through the crowd, exiting the arena with his stolen car. Copeland then turned towards the camera and challenged Cage for an I Quit Match at the March 20th edition of Dynamite, Toronto. He said that he wished to face Cage once more.
Tony Khan announced the TNT Championship match immediately after the segment.
Copeland won the TNT Championship at AEW’s Worlds End in Decemeber. After Killswitch attacked Copeland, Cage forced Killswitch into giving him the TNT contract Killswitch earned earlier that night. This allowed Cage to immediately win the TNT Championship.
Copeland began to win matches after Worlds End in order to get a second chance at Christian Cage. Copeland wrestled Daniel Garcia during a number one competitors match, but The Patriarchy interrupted and eventually laid Copeland out with a conchairto.
