Tony Khan: It is reasonable that AEW will be the second-most profitable company ever in todays Wrestling news

Khan was asked to comment on a recent MJF Interview in which the former AEW World Champion stated that if AEW receives their new deal they will become “the second most successful wrestler company that ever existed.”

Khan said that without going into the semantics, mechanics and accountancy (he was not sure how much WCW earned in 1998 or Jim Crockett earned in 1986), he believes they will indeed be the number one over the course of this multi-year deal. 2 spot.

Khan has insinuated that a new TV deal with his one TV partner is in fact going to happen. He even went so far as to confirm recent media reports about certain happenings. Although never confirmed publicly, it is believed that the existing contract expires at year’s end.
