Tony Khan is a fan of the idea of AEW vs. WWE, but at this time it does not sound like a real possibility.
Khan was asked by TJ Jefferson, of the Rich Eisen Show if he ever saw AEW and WWE collaborating for a supershow. Khan said that he would love to see that happen, but “there are a lot of challenging things” that make that difficult.
“I would love it if that was possible. Khan said, “I don’t think it is possible, but for the fans it would be fantastic if it were.” “I think it would be wonderful.” There are many challenges in the business world of pro-wrestling that would make this a very difficult thing to do.
WWE is less isolated under the Nick Khan/Paul “Triple H Levesque” regime. They have formed relationships with TNA Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling NOAH.
AEW has strong partnerships with NJPW, CMLL, and Stardom. All of these promotions were involved in Forbidden Door 2024 last month.
