TNT announces title defense for next AEW Dynamite in todays Wrestling news
Next week, two more matches and a face-toface segment will be played.
A TNT title defence, two additional matches, and a face-toface segment are all set for Wednesday, May 8, AEW Dynamite.
Adam Copeland, who successfully defended the TNT Championship this week against Buddy Matthews, will face Brody King of Matthews’ House of Black stablemate on next week’s episode.
Trent Beretta and Orange Cassidy will face off in the May 8 Dynamite as Best Friends continue to fall apart. On this week’s Dynamite Cassidy and Beretta were involved with a pull-apart storyline, where Cassidy blamed Beretta for injuring Chuck Taylor’s career in the parking lot fight they had on last week Rampage. Don Callis appeared to be advising Cassidy in the segment.
After a backstage promotion from Saraya and Harley Cameron on Wednesday’s Rampage, Cameron challenged Mariah May to next week’s Dynamite. May lost this week’s show to Serena Deeb.
Christian Cage will also face off against AEW World champion Swerve Strickland next week. Cage was revealed to be Swerve’s Double or Nothing challenger on this weeks Dynamite. Christian and Killswitch laid out Swerve, Prince Nana and Christian.
