TNA’s Jordynne grace to face Roxanne Perez in WWE NXT Battleground in todays Wrestling news
NXT Battleground will host an interpromotional match between the NXT Women’s Championship and NXT Battleground.
Jordynne Grace, TNA Knockouts champion, surprised Ava when Roxanne Perez asked who she would be facing at the UFC Apex premium live event next weekend. The fans in attendance chanted TNA as Grace told Perez she planned to leave Las Vegas as a two-time champion.
Grace, who is the Knockouts Champion since January, appeared at the Royal Rumble. This was the first sign that TNA and WWE were working together. She lasted a long time in the Rumble before being eliminated by Bianca Belair.
The OC (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) challenged Nathan Frazer & Axiom to a title match at Battleground. They were vying for the NXT Tag Team Titles. The OC defeated Edris Eofe & Malik Blade. The champions then attacked Gallows & Anderson, accepting the challenge.
Sexxy Red introduced the NXT Women’s North American Championship at the beginning of NXT. She also announced she would be hosting Battleground.

- NXT Tag Team titles: Nathan Frazer & Axiom defend against The OC (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)
