TNA’s Ash by Elegance appeared during the Women’s title fight at WWE NXT Battleground in todays Wrestling news
Ash by Elegance, the former Dana Brooke of WWE, made her presence known during the NXT Women’s Title Match at Sunday’s WWE NXT Battleground. She fought with Tatum Paxley but was eventually laid out by Jordynne grace.
Paxley ran into the entranceway and grabbed Grace’s TNA Knockouts belt, after he had spotted the NXT championship. He did this to distract Grace. Ash then came to fight for the belt. Grace came out to greet them both with belt shots.
Grace lost to Perez soon afterward when she countered Juggernaut Driver with a cutter, followed by Pop Rocks and won. Ash taunted Grace for her loss.
Her past with WWE was never mentioned, other than a quick Vic Joseph mention of “That’s Dana…Ash By Elegance.”
Ash was released from WWE in September 2023, while she was still in NXT. This ended a decade long run with the company. She signed a TNA contract in January this year and made her debut at Hard to Kill. She has only had seven matches (6-1) so far and hasn’t gotten a shot at the TNA title.
Grace will be facing a challenger for her TNA title at Against All Odds next weekend.
