The team is trying to find a way forward after D’Amore’s dismissal.

TNA Wrestling is trying to find a way forward after Scott D’Amore’s exit from the company.

Last week, Anthem Sports & Entertainment terminated D’Amore’s contract. Anthony Cicione became the new president of TNA Wrestling after D’Amore’s firing. Cicione is the president of Anthem Entertainment Group.

After the announcement, TNA members publicly expressed their support for D’Amore via social media. Fightful published a message that TNA wrestlers sent to Anthem Sports & Entertainment CEO Leonard Asper, and D’Amore. In the letter, TNA wrestlers expressed that D’Amore was still the best person to protect TNA’s future and present.

The letter stated that “we feel strongly that a “wrestling person” needs to be intimately and at a high-level involved to ensure that the amazing business we have built and the product we have provided for our fans continues to flourish and grow.” “We believe that Scott is the best person to fill that role.

The TNA talent said that Asper and Anthem were instrumental in rebuilding the company and the promotion wouldn’t have survived without them. The TNA talent stated that they wrote the letter to open up a line of communications and reunite the TNA Family.

“We remain steadfast in our belief that this letter will be the first step towards opening and maintaining productive lines of communication, to ensure that TNA/Impact continues to be an amazing, unique place to work, for years to come,” wrote they. “We ask and implore both of you to come together and find a solution that will reunite the family once more.”

Len and Scott

TNA/Impact, our employer, is more than just a company. It is a big family. It is a family. We feel deeply for a family and want to protect it above all.

We are deeply upset by the decision to remove Scott D’Amore as a member of the TNA/Impact Family. Scott D’Amore is a brilliant wrestler who has guided the company to its next level in our industry. Scott is so much more. He is a trusted confidant, teacher and advisor to many in the TNA/Impact Family. Scott has been at the heart of TNA/Impact for more than two decades.

Len and Anthem were instrumental in building and supporting this company from the ground up. Len and Anthem’s contributions have never been overlooked by anyone at the company. We want to make sure Len is aware of this. TNA would not have survived if Len and Anthem had not been there. Not only financially, but also with the unwavering faith in Scott and ourselves to revive the company on the verge of death. TNA’s success has been built on the foundation of Len and Anthem. We wouldn’t have made it to this point without YOU BOTH. Both the TNA family and the fans know that.

We are writing to express our concern about TNA/Impact and our family. We also want to discuss its future and direction. We, too, want to protect what we have all sweated and bled to build. We want TNA/Impact continue to grow and continue to be a place that professional wrestlers would love to work.

We understand that professional wrestling is a business. The company must produce a product that is fiscally responsible and financially viable. Professional wrestling is also in a unique position. The business of professional wrestlers is much more than just balance sheets, ratings, and downloads. The wrestling business is its people, characters, and storylines. It is important to note that there is no wrestling industry without the wrestling creative and the right people to bring the creative vision to reality.

To thrive, a company must be able to make business decisions while also keeping an eye on creative decisions and the changing appetite of fans. This letter is a response to this concern, and our desire for TNA/Impact to maintain its high standards.

We want to have a dialog with you and the company to protect the future and present of TNA/Impact, for you, Anthem, the fans, and professional wrestlers. We believe that a “wrestling person” needs to be involved at a very high level in order to ensure the growth and success of our amazing company and product that we have provided for our fans. Scott is the best person we could think of for this role.

We acknowledge that we may not know all of the facts or details surrounding the decision to remove Scott. In life, there are always rumors, opinions, and somewhere in the middle, the truth. We rarely know which one is which. We hope and wish that everyone can put aside the past days and any hurtful words or hurt feelings that may have been said, and meet up to discuss a way forward that preserves the TNA/Impact Family we all cherish.

We remain hopeful and steadfast that this letter will be the first step in opening and maintaining productive lines of communication, to ensure that the TNA/Impact Family continues to be an amazing, unique place to continue to work for many years to come. We ask and implore both of you to come together and find a solution that will reunite the family.

We look forward hearing from you to continue this dialogue.
