JBL, a former WWE star, made his TNA Wrestling debut on Friday’s TNA Emergence. This continued a recent storyline in which he appeared at events as a surprising surprise.
After Nic Nemeth successfully defended his title against Josh Alexander in the 60 minute Iron Man main event, JBL walked out from behind to look at Nemeth and whisper something in the ring. Then, JBL left.
Last weekend, he won the undisputed GCW championship by defeating Effy in a ladder match between four players. This paved the way for Mance to climb the ladder and win the title.

Alisha Edwards, who was knocked out in a match between women’s trios, is reported to be fine.
In the opening moments, Edwards, Masha Slamovich, Ash by Elegance, and Jordynne Grace were all on the floor, while Luna, Threat, and Grace were in the ring. Grace threw Luna and Threat onto the heels, which knocked Edwards out. Grace was about to dive on Edwards but stopped when she realized that no one would be there to catch Edwards. Edwards did not get up after the other women tried helping her up without realizing she was unconscious.
Tommy Dreamer carried Edwards back after medical personnel attended to her. Sean Ross Sapp, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, later posted on X about Edwards who “seemed to handle things okay backstage.”

Zachary Wentz, of the Rascalz, is the new TNA X-Division champion after winning the title in the night’s Ultimate X Match.
Wentz and Mike Bailey, the incumbent titleholder, were fighting in a five-man match. They were hanging by their thighs and trading shots to try to win the match. Wentz knocked Bailey down and unhooked his belt to win the match.
