Tiffany Stratton believes it would be “amazing”, if WWE created a Netflix branded championship.
Stratton told Gorilla Position recently that adding a women’s mid-card title to the WWE roster would be a good idea. She agreed with Gorilla position that the “Netflix Championship’ would be a great name for the belt.
“I think that it would be great, because I know NXT already has one [the NXT Women’s North American Championship]. They have so many females in NXT, and we have a lot of women on our main roster. “I think it would make sense to introduce a midcard title,” Stratton stated. “And a Netflix Championship?” That would be awesome. What a great concept.”
WWE Raw will be moved to Netflix beginning with the episode of the show on January 6, 2025. Stratton currently belongs to the SmackDown roster.
Stratton was a champion in NXT, but she hasn’t yet won her first title on the main roster. Stratton could change that at any time if she holds the Money in the Bank briefcase. She could cash out on either Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, or WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jx. WWE teased that Stratton would eventually turn against Jax to take her title.
WWE has considered adding mid-card titles for the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Divisions, but this idea hasn’t yet come to fruition.
