On Friday, three NXT wrestlers appeared at a TNA Wrestling event.
Izzi Dame made a surprise appearance at the first TNA television tapings of Philadelphia. Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne also made surprise appearances. Dame was Jordynne’s opponent in the Knockouts Championship match, while Dempsey & Borne from No Quarter Catch Crew appear to have started a new program with The Rascalz.
Grace, who had defeated Tatum Paxley in TNA Against All Odds on Thursday, issued a second open challenge to a NXT wrestler on Friday. She defeated Dame in order to retain the Knockouts championship.
This was Dame’s first match outside the WWE system. She played volleyball for Eastern Michigan University before signing with WWE in the year 2022.
Dempsey made his presence known at the TNA tapings by interrupting a match between Trey Miguel & Leon Slater from an angle. Dempsey smashed Miguel, Slater and Zachary Wentz as well as the referee.
Borne interfered in a match between Dempsey and Wentz later in the evening. Dempsey, Borne and Damon Kemp are stablemates with Tavion Heights and No Quarter Catch Crew.
TNA wrestlers Grace and Joe Hendry have recently appeared for NXT as part of the growing partnership between WWE & TNA.
