Three more wrestlers have declared for the WWE King of the Ring Tournament in todays Wrestling news
Next week, Raw and SmackDown will feature tournament matches.
Three more wrestlers declared their entry into the 2024 WWE King of the Ring Tournament.
On Friday’s SmackDown, LA Knight, Santos Escobar and Carmelo Hayes all announced their intention to enter this tournament. The six confirmed entrants on WWE TV include Drew McIntyre (and Gunther), Xavier Woods, the 2021 tournament champion, and Gunther.
Knight and Escobar announced the news in a promo segment during Friday’s SmackDown, after Knight defeated Escobar’s Legado Del Fantasma teammate Angel. Hayes announced his entry during a promo segment with GM Nick Aldis on SmackDown.
The King of the Ring Tournament will begin on Monday, May 6, Raw and continue on Friday, May 10, WWE SmackDown. The finals are set to take place at the WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE in Jeddah on May 25.
The Queen of the Ring Tournament has yet to have any entrants announced. The brackets for the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring have not been revealed.
