Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has received some good news about his elbow injury.
Johnson revealed earlier this week that his elbow was injured while filming scenes in his upcoming film “The Smashing Machine.” It was badly swollen, and Johnson joked about how it looked like a cantaloupe.
Johnson was able get his elbow examined after the swelling subsided. In a Thursday night update on his Instagram account, Johnson stated that the injury was a ruptured sac of bursa. It will heal eventually, and there is not significant tissue damage.
“No extensive tissue damage. He wrote: “Ruptured bursa that will eventually heal.” “I’ve had worse, but as always, let pain and tequila be your guide back to work.”
“The Smashing Machine”, a biopic about MMA legend Mark Kerr, is now available. Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions company have partnered up with A24 Films to produce the movie. The movie stars Johnson and Emily Blunt.
After Johnson’s participation in WWE WrestleMania 40, the filming of the movie began. On night one, he defeated Cody Rhodes during a tag-team match. Johnson’s first extensive ring action in over a decade. Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania night two from Roman Reigns.
WWE is building a Rhodes-vs. The Rock will face off at some point in the future.
