The Rock & Roman reigns face-off is set for WWE WrestleMania 40’s media event in todays Wrestling news
The media event will be held in Las Vegas, on February 8th.
WWE will hold a WrestleMania40 Kickoff event next Thursday (8 February) in Las Vegas.
The media event was announced after The Rock and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns confronted each other on Friday’s episode SmackDown. The confrontation set up Reigns vs. The Rock will headline WrestleMania.
WWE has confirmed The Rock and Reigns’ next confrontation will take place at the media event. Rock, Reigns and Paul “Triple H Levesque” will be speaking.
WWE wrote that “Fans and Media will hear from The Rock and Roman Reigns as well as WWE Chief content officer Paul ‘Triple H” Levesque.” “Media will have the opportunity to interview both Cody Rhodes and Seth ‘Freakin Rollins’, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley, immediately following the event.”
The media event will be held at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas. It is free to attend. The event begins at 7 p.m. Eastern/4 p.m. Pacific time and will be streamed live on Peacock, as well as WWE social media channels.
Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will host the media event.
WrestleMania takes place at the Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2019. The first match for the show is IYO SKY vs. Bayley, for the WWE Women’s Championship.
