Tanga Loa joins The Bloodline after making WWE debut at Backlash in todays Wrestling news
Loa helped Sikoa & Tonga beat Owens & Orton in their street fight.
Backlash has added a new Bloodline game.
Tanga Loa made a WWE debut at Saturday’s event, in France. He helped the new Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga), defeat Kevin Owens and Randy Orton in an on-street fight. Loa is Tonga’s brother. They were seven-time tag-team champions in NJPW as the Guerrillas of Destiny.
Loa, 40, wrestled his last match for NJPW on March 31. Backlash was not a time when there were rumors that he might join WWE.
Loa began his career in NJPW as Camacho.
Loa intervened just as Owens was about pin Tonga in Backlash. Owens hit Tonga with a brainbuster from the top rope to a pile of chairs. Loa pulled out the referee from the ring when he went for the cover. Loa hit Orton and Owens with the steel steps. Sikoa & Tonga won the match with Sikoa pinning Owens.
Sikoa has been a major character in The Bloodline story since WrestleMania. Roman Reigns is not present. He has added Tonga and Loa into The Bloodline, while kicking Jimmy Uso from it.
Paul Heyman, who is worried about the changes in The Bloodline, revealed on SmackDown he hasn’t spoken to Reigns since WrestleMania. Heyman said that he pulled Reigns from the WWE Draft because he didn’t want to expose Reigns to The Bloodline’s chaos.
Backlash was Tonga’s first televised WWE match. The match wasn’t initially announced as a streetfight, but SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis added that stipulation when the teams got into an intense brawl just before the bell rang.
Tonga and Loa are the sons of pro wrestler legend Haku.
