Tama Tonga makes WWE debut on SmackDown in todays Wrestling news
The Bloodline is changing.
After WrestleMania, Tama Tonga is now officially a part of WWE.
On Friday’s SmackDown episode, the 41-year old Tonga made its WWE debut. He was introduced as The Bloodline’s newest member, working with Solo Sikoa in order to defeat Jimmy Uso. The storyline states that the decision was taken without Paul Heyman’s knowledge and possibly Roman Reigns as well.
Before Tonga made their debut, Heyman, Sikoa and Jimmy Uso were in the ring. Heyman said that Reigns ordered The Bloodline, who lost at WrestleMania, to accept responsibility and deal with their consequences. Sikoa interrupted Heyman as he was speaking. Sikoa said that there should be consequences and a change.
Sikoa then turned his attention towards Jimmy, and Tonga attacked Jimmy behind.
Corey Graves, commenting on the appearance of Tonga, said: “That’s Haku’s son who has been wrecking shops in Japan for years.”
Sikoa delivered multiple Samoan spikes to Jimmy before standing together with Tonga. Heyman was not happy with what was happening, but Sikoa made Heyman stand alongside them. Sikoa stomped and took Heyman’s phone when he tried to call Reigns.
Heyman begged that this was not what Reigns wanted. But Sikoa placed a steel chair before Jimmy’s face, and then laid him out using a running hip-attack.
The commentary team asked the question, “Who is in charge of The Bloodline right now?”
Tonga and Sikoa confronted Heyman in a backstage interview later on. Tonga told a visibly shook Heyman, “By orders from The Tribal Chief.” Heyman asked what this meant.
Jimmy Uso had lost to his twin Jey Uso in WrestleMania forty. Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the event to Cody Rhodes.
