Tony Khan announced that Sting would appear on the Dynamite episode of Wednesday night from Huntsville, Alabama. Sting’s final match will be on the go-home episode of Revolution. Sting & Darby Alin will defend their AEW Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks on the March 3 pay per view.
Khan clarified that Sting will not be appearing on TBS in the future as a professional wrestler.
This Wednesday, @Sting, the co-holder of @AEW’s World Tag Team Championships, will make his final appearance on TBS following 36 years on top.
Sting will stop by to say hello from time to time to the fans of @AEW, but after the next week we’ll all have to face reality. Sting is retiring following #AEWRevolution, and his final appearance as a professional wrestling on TBS takes place this Wednesday in Huntsville.
