McMahon surprised everyone by opening Sunday’s WrestleMania.
Stephanie McMahon, former WWE co-CEO, made a surprise debut to kick off WrestleMania night two. However, as of yet, she is not an official employee.
PWInsider has some news for you on Tuesday.
The outlet reported that McMahon has not officially returned to her company as an executive or employee in any shape or form. Her appearance on Sunday was made to give fans a “one-off surprise” and to lend her personal support to the new era of the company.
She appeared with husband Paul “Triple H Levesque” at the Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday. Levesque was not asked about his wife’s return to WWE after Sunday’s event and did not specify whether she was officially back. He only said that it was great that she was “back home” with WWE.
This weekend marked her very first public appearances after she left the company in January of 2023, when Vince McMahon was reinstated as executive chairman. Since then, WWE and UFC have been merged to form TKO. Her father resigned as executive chairman of TKO in response to the allegations contained in the Janel grant lawsuit. She has not yet made a public comment about the lawsuit or the allegations against her dad.
In an interview conducted in March 2023, the current WWE CEO Nick Khan stated that he would like to see Stephanie back as part of the company.
She made headlines in November last year when she was spotted backstage at Survivor Series.
