2 Cold Scorpio has been removed from the August schedule of Japan wrestling after he was involved in a stabbing.
DDT Pro Wrestling has announced that Scorpio will postpone his visit to Japan. He was scheduled to compete in DDT & Game Changer Wrestling event on August 12, and GCW event on August 13-14. The postponement was due to Scorpio’s troubles in America. DDT apologized for any disappointment caused by the postponement.
TMZ Sports reported this week that Scorpio (Charles Scaggs), a security guard working at a gasstation, was arrested for stabbing a male victim on June 15. Scorpio claims that the stabbing was in self-defense because the man had threatened him and wrestled with him. The man, however, says that Scorpio was the aggressor. The man was taken by ambulance to the hospital with cuts on his head, chest and buttocks. He also suffered cuts on his abdomen, legs and legs. TMZ Sports reported that the man required “dozens of staples” and “stitches throughout his body.”
The 58-year old Scorpio is facing two charges: one of assault in the first degree and one of criminal weaponry. Both charges are felonies. Scorpio was released from jail on bond after his arrest. A hearing has been scheduled for July.
Scorpio competed in Japan before for Pro Wrestling NOAH AJPW and NJPW. He is best known for his time in ECW, WWF and WCW.
