Sonjay Dutt has recovered from surgery.
The AEW producer reported on X last week that he had a total reverse shoulder replacement.
“After dealing for the better part the last two decades with a variety of shoulder issues, I began my journey to fix,” he wrote. “Last week, I had surgery to replace my shoulder with a reverse total replacement. It’s been a very difficult journey, both mentally and physically. But I am so excited about my future!
Dutt is 42 years old and currently works for AEW as a producer. He also manages a team consisting of Jeff Jarrett and Satnam Singh. His last match took place in February 2023 when he, Lethal Jarrett and Singh lost against Billy Gunn, Orange Cassidy and The Acclaimed. Since the end of 2017, he has mostly worked behind the scenes.
He is also well-known for his time in TNA, where he was a former X Division Champion. In 2019, he became a WWE producer, where he stayed up until 2021, when he joined AEW.
