Skye Blue has hurt her ankle.
Shida landed on Blue during a match on Saturday against Hikaru Shida. Referee checked Blue upon impact and the match was immediately stopped.
On X Tony Khan stated that Blue was suffering from an ankle injury. AEW doctors were treating him.
“Our previous match has been stopped + @shidahikaru has been declared the winner due to an ankle injury @Skyebyee Skye Blue, is being evaluated by the Doctors now; we’re wishing her all the best,” he wrote.
Shida, the former women’s champ, was interviewed on Collision and said she would challenge Britt Baker to this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. She had previously broken Baker’s nase.
Blue defeated Harley Cameron in last week’s Collision. In a later promo, Shida challenged her to this week’s episode.
