Skye Blue is recovering in her home after suffering a serious injury last night on AEW collision.
Blue’s match with Hikaru Shida ended early after she was unable to continue playing after taking a high-cross from Shida outside. The referee called the doctor and checked her out. Shida won the show when it returned from commercial.
Bryan Alvarez, our own subscriber on X, would later post that “early word is Skye Blue may have broken her ankle in Collision.”
Kyle Fletcher posted on social media that Blue was back home. In the photo, her leg is in a cast.
Blue had just beaten Harley Cameron in the previous week’s Collision. She had also challenged Mercedes Mone unsuccessfully for the TBS title when AEW ran a KIA Forum show in Los Angeles in May.
