Shotzi injured at WWE NXT taping in todays Wrestling news
Shotzi was injured when she challenged Lyra Vakyria to the NXT Women’s Championship.
According to reports, Shotzi suffered a serious injury to his knee during Tuesday’s WWE NXT tape.
The injury occurred when Shotzi attempted a DDT from the apron during her title match with Lyra Valkyria in the NXT Women’s Championship. The bout was taped on Tuesday night and will air on WWE NXT’s episode on February 20. According to reports, the match was stopped after Shotzi’s injury and she was taken backstage for further examination. Corey Brennan of Fightful was the first to report the injury.
The Valkyria and Shotzi title match was teased in this week’s episode, but it was not officially announced until Tuesday’s NXT.
Shotzi was originally scheduled to face Tiffany Stratton on this week’s WWE SmackDown in an Elimination Chamber qualification match, but now that match could be in danger.
