Shelton Benjamin’s possible move to AEW in todays Wrestling news

Shelton Benjamin says that the ball is now in AEW’s court.
Fightful reported recently that Benjamin had held talks with the promotion, but it is unclear if a deal has been reached.
In an interview published on Tuesday by For The Love of Wrestling, Benjamin discussed the possibility of him landing with AEW.
“As far AEW is concerned, that door is open.” My door is open. Benjamin said, “I haven’t ruled out any possibilities yet.”
Benjamin added, “Again the ball is in their court.” It’s pro-wrestling, so you never know what will happen.
Benjamin had also spoken earlier about the possibility of wrestling the new AEW signees Kazuchika Ospreay and Will Ospreay.
“Okada. While I’ve worked with him in New Japan, I never had a match. I would love to be able to work with Okada. Will Ospreay is a phenomenal guy and I’d love to work with him. I’ve watched him for years. He does things that I could never do. It would be difficult for me to try some of his moves, but I’d love to work with this guy. I think it would be a lot fun.”
Benjamin was released by WWE in September, after being with the company for over a year. His first stint at WWE lasted from 2000 to 2010 His first post WWE match is scheduled for May, where he will wrestle Josh Alexander in Los Angeles for Prestige Wrestling.
