Sammy Guevara’s vlog post following suspension of AEW in todays Wrestling news
Guevara has been suspended for not adhering the concussion protocol.
Sammy Guevara has posted a message to his vlog while he is still suspended from AEW.
Guevara posted an all-text message at the end of his vlog for this week. Guevara did not address the suspension directly, but wrote about making mistakes and striving to be better.
He wrote:
Thank you for watching. Thank you to all those who have supported me, whether they’ve been with me from the start or are watching my first video.
I know that I have made mistakes, but I also understand that I have tried to improve. At 30, I understand the meaning of “Roll with it”. The world will throw you a lot of challenges.
It is not the adversities themselves that define you, but how you handle them. I know who and what I’m aiming for.

Guevara has been suspended after a match against Jeff Hardy, which was taped for AEW’s Rampage on 14 February. Hardy broke his nase after Guevara collided Hardy’s nose with Guevara after a shooting-star press. The match was not stopped, and Guevara instead hit Hardy with the Go to Hell finish. This was against concussion protocols.
