Rush will be in the ring on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite after his brawl on Wednesday’s Dynamite with former AEW World Champion MJF.
His opponent is yet to be named.
The Mexican star returned to the ring after a long absence. Since April, he has won three consecutive matches. He called out MJF recently during a backstage promotion and then came out this past Wednesday to interrupt a promotional video. After several minutes, security and other officials were forced to separate the two. They began by exchanging verbal insults before launching physical attacks.
The first ever bout between the two and MJF’s return from injury will likely be their first.
The addition joins a slowly-developing card for Des Moines, Iowa, as the road to this month’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view continues:
