Roxanne Perez wins Women’s title at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver in todays Wrestling news
Perez dethroned Lyra in today’s episode.
The NXT Women’s Championship was handed over at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver.
Roxanne Perez forced Lyra Valkyria to submit in a crossface during Saturday’s show. She had been aiming at Valkyria’s already injured left arm throughout the match.
Perez is now the only wrestler to have won the NXT Women’s Title twice, joining Charlotte Flair and Asuka.
Before the title match started, Giulia the free agent was shown in the crowd seated next to William Regal. On commentary, it was said that Giulia had come to “take in” what they called the best women’s division of the world.
Valkyria’s title reign ends at 165 days after six defenses in WWE NXT programming. She won the belt over Becky Lynch at NXT Halloween Havoc in 2023.
Perez’s reign as champion begins a little more than a year after Indi Hartwell won the belt at NXT Stand & Deliver in 2023. Hartwell won the six-pack ladder match on that night, but was forced to give up the belt shortly after due to an injury.
