In a recent interview, Rousey expressed her disgust for McMahon.

Ronda spoke out about her dislike for Vince McMahon during a recent interview.

Rousey told Cagesideseats her frustration with the company stemmed because the women’s roster was not given the same screen time or preparation time.

She said:

The Bloodline can plan things a year in advance, and won’t talk to me before I arrive at the arena. You can ask me anything.

I proved to myself in my first match, that if I was given the time, resources, and preparation I could put together a great match. I feel that they are doing this with Logan Paul, allowing him to practice and put together these things and have all these resources and producers to bring him up to his maximum potential. It got to the point that he girls weren’t going to get any of this.

Rousey said that she felt like she was making custom matches for “a f—ing sicko behind.”

She continued:

I didn’t want to be Vince’s action figure anymore. I felt like I was doing custom matches for some f—ing sicko at the back.

All power to girls who continue to fight the good battle. But I’m now in my mid-30s. I have a lot to do.

Rousey repeated her previous comments about Bruce Prichard being “Vince’s avatar” after he had supposedly left the company.

Rousey said that:

(Vince McMahon was never away while I was there. He was just phoning in through Bruce Pritchard.

My agent, who works at WME, told me that he had left the company. I was like, “I’ll believe it once I see it,” because everyone said it before. He never left. He was there via text message.

Later in the interview Rousey discussed the fact that she didn’t have a singles match against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, and what she told the company about her final storylines.

Rousey claimed that WWE refused to collaborate with her in developing a storyline which would lead to her facing Lynch at WrestleMania38 in Dallas.

She said:

WWE refused to collaborate with me. They refused to work together. They refused to talk to me. They kept pushing it back and pushing it back until it finally reached the road to WrestleMania and they were like, yeah, we aren’t gonna do you two.

Rousey continued:

I was like, “Alright then, I’m f—ing going unless me and Shanya Baszler can tag.”

You don’t want me to work with you if you don’t want something extraordinary. You want to do well enough every night. I came here with my friends to have a good time.

Rousey said that Triple H told her she could not “be associated with mediocrity” when it came to her decision to leave WWE.

I had a lengthy sit-down with Triple H, and I said “I can’t be mediocrity’s associate.” And that was what they seemed to like at the time. I hope it’s different now, but… I can’t say that I’ve experienced it any other time.

In the interview, Rousey praised Triple H. She said that she wished that her final WWE run would have taken place when he was the CEO of the company.

Rousey continued:

Triple H has shown great respect to the women of the company, and has really believed in us. He was the reason I was there because he believed in my abilities. I wish that Vince was gone and Triple H ran the show for my last run.

The full interview includes Rousey discussing her history of concussions and her role as the headliner at WrestleMania 35.
