Roman Reigns will make two consecutive WWE SmackDown shows following his return at SummerSlam.
The Kia Center, located in Orlando, Florida, announced today that Reigns would be in the building on Friday, August 16, for the episode of SmackDown. Reigns is already confirmed for this week’s SummerSlam Fallout edition of SmackDown, which will take place in Tulsa.
The arena announced that “Roman Reigns will be returning to Friday Night SmackDown on August 16 at the Kia Center! “Limited Tickets still available, buy now!”
Reigns was away from WWE programming four months before his return at SummerSlam. WWE is presenting a Bloodline Civil War with a babyface battling Solo Sikoa now that he’s returned.
Sikoa appointed himself the new Tribal chief while Reigns was away, bringing Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa into The Bloodline, while betraying Jimmy Uso & Paul Heyman. Reigns defeated Sikoa last Saturday with a Superman Punch and spear in the main event of SummerSlam. Cody Rhodes defeated Sikoa and retained the Undisputed WWE Championship.
These are Reigns’ first SmackDown performances since he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania to Rhodes.
