According to his father Rikishi Jimmy Uso “does great” before a return to WWE.
Jimmy’s status was discussed on the latest episode of the Rikishi Off the Top Podcast by the WWE Hall of Famer, who said that Jimmy feels “recharged” following a break from WWE programming. Jimmy hasn’t appeared on TV since an angle in which he was kicked off The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa. He last wrestled in April. At the time, it was reported that Jimmy had an injury.
“Jimmy’s doing fine. I think that Jimmy is ready to return at any moment to do what he enjoys. I’m certain he misses his fans, and I know you all miss Jimmy,” Rikishi stated.
“He’s doing well. He has some time to rest his body and mind. We hope to see Jimmy very soon.”
Rikishi said that he is sure that Jimmy is itching for a return to the ring. However, Rikishi believes that it’s good both for the body and mind to be able take some time off from wrestling, travel, and all that comes with it.
Jimmy Uso’s last match, before he was forced to retire from the ring, was a loss against his twin brother Jey at WrestleMania. Jey Uso said last month Jimmy would be back on WWE TV in the near future.
WWE seems to be preparing for a Bloodline Civil War, with Roman Reigns leading one side and Sikoa leading the other. Sikoa has brought Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa into his version.
