Ricochet: I still have a lot to do in NJPW in todays Wrestling news

Ricochet has many goals he would like to achieve in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Ricochet, now that he has signed with AEW, will also have the opportunity to return to Japan where he previously competed for NJPW or Dragon Gate. Ricochet has been announced to wrestle for Japanese promotion GLEAT in a tag-team match next month alongside his Dragon Gate mentor CIMA.

Ricochet said on the Battleground Podcast he is excited to reunite CIMA for GLEAT. He still has goals to achieve in NJPW. Ricochet was asked if he would be interested in returning to NJPW as a G1 competitor. He said he is “absolutely”.

“Yeah, absolutely,” Ricochet responded. “I won the Best of the Super Junior in 2014, so I feel that now I should upgrade to the G1, without a doubt. “I’m still planning to do a lot in New Japan, including things I didn’t accomplish.”

Ricochet hasn’t wrestled in NJPW for seven years. He joined WWE in 2018, but left the company this summer.

Ricochet made his AEW debut at All In, last month. On Dynamite (September 11), Ricochet will face Sammy Guevara.
