Ric Flair believes Charlotte will recover quickly from her injury.

Ric Flair believes that Charlotte Flair can recover from her injury.

Charlotte will be out of action for a long time after suffering a torn MCL, ACL and meniscus. The injury occurred during a match in which Asuka defeated Charlotte in the episode of SmackDown on December 8. The following week, WWE confirmed that Charlotte would be out of action for at least nine months.

Ric Flair told The Classic that he had told Charlotte she would recover from her injury. Ric Flair thinks this will be “the greatest plotline of all times.” Ric said Charlotte’s injury was stressful because she hadn’t been injured in a while.

Ric said that Charlotte is the best worker he knows in the industry.

She is the best employee in the business, man or woman. She can do stuff Rey Mysterio does. She is 5’11” and weighs 150 lbs. She is the best employee in the company, male or female.

You know what I’m saying? She doesn’t kiss anyone’s arse in this awful world of politics. She is improving every day.

I told her that she will recover from this injury. She was stressed out because it had been a while since she’d been hurt. She’s so muscular and I mean, they’ll put stem cells in her after the surgery. She’ll return and it will be the best storyline ever. I’m talking about her, Bayley, IYO, and all those guys as well as Asuka. There are still more people she can wrestle. She has so many things going on.

Flair said that he doesn’t knock any of the members of the women’s division but Charlotte is his favorite.

Charlotte had a feud with Damage CTRL before she injured her knee.

Dave Meltzer confirmed to ESPN this week that Charlotte had signed a new WWE deal several months ago. Fightful reported the contract was for a “huge increase in money” and that it is “one the highest-paid contracts to a female in WWE history.”

Ric Flair has a multi-year contract with AEW while Charlotte is still in WWE.
