Flair claims that his doctors told him he suffered a heartattack within the past two years.

Ric Flair thinks he had a heartattack during his last match.

During a recent appearance on The Jaxxon Podcast, Flair revealed that he was told by doctors in late 2023 he had suffered a heartattack within the past two years. Flair believes that it happened at Ric Flair’s Last Match, on July 31, 2022.

Flair said:

I had never had a calcium scan before. I was scared because two men in my business died of heart problems.

You’re put through the nuclear stress test. They also dye you, put you on a treadmill, and more. Two days and three hours of testing. This was six months ago. The guy takes me into the room, and if you look like a round pie at your heart, there’s an enormous piece of my heart here, it is black, it has disappeared. The guy said: “You’ve had heart attacks in the last two year.”

He asked, “Have you passed-out in the last two? I had passed out three more times during my last match. I thought I was dehydrated. I went into the locker room and drank two gatorade bottles with Kid Rock and Taker. Then I went to Kid Rock’s house all night. But I had a cardiac arrest.

Flair said on his podcast a couple of weeks later that he had passed-out twice during the match. He also stated that he thought this was due dehydration. He also said that The Undertaker had insisted he drink Gatorade instead of beer when he returned to the locker room.

Flair said, “I swear to God twice during the match I went completely black,” in August 2022. “My hand began to tremble, yes, but that was just dehydration. I immediately had two doctors with me. The Undertaker ran in and said that I had six beers. He took them out of my hands and said, “You’re going to drink two Gatorades before you do anything else.” I replied, “Gatorade?” I only drank two Gatorades.

It was reported earlier this year that The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions are developing a movie about Flair’s biography. Flair has recently publicly criticized a Seven Bucks production, the upcoming Who Killed WCW? Seven Bucks and Vice TV produced a docuseries. Flair is upset that he was not interviewed for the series. He posted on X: “As Usual, More Bullshit. No Interview With Ric Flair, Who Was WCW And Who Made Everyone Here For 20 Years. Run by the same people who killed the company. How embarrassing! A Documentary about WCW Without Me!”
