Ric Flair was not pleased with his recent visit to a pizza restaurant that uses stone-fired ovens.
Flair posted on social media this weekend that he had been asked to leave the Piesanos restaurant in Gainesville after complaining about “the kitchen manager taking too much time in the bathroom.”

Jerry Roberts, co-owner of Piesanos, spoke to the Gainesville Sun. He said that he was proud of the way the restaurant staff handled the incident. He declined to say what led to Flair’s expulsion.
“We have reviewed the video of the incident which occurred recently at our restaurant. It is evident that our team acted in a professional way to ensure the safety for guests and staff. We have thanked the team for their professionalism. Roberts said, “We are proud of the way they handled this situation by displaying and using our team values.”

Today, clips of Flair’s appearance on the Jaxxon Podcast were used to make headlines. He revealed that doctors told him he suffered a heart attack in the last two or three years. Flair believes that he had it during his final match in 2022.
Today is also the anniversary when Flair lost the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Texas Stadium to Kerry Von Erich.
Kerry Von Erich won the NWA title at Texas Stadium 40 years ago today. This was the culmination after an 18-year chase that began when Fritz failed to beat Kiniski Jr., Race, Dory Jr. and Terry Funk. One of my favourite wrestling memories.
