Rhea Ripley’s WWE character: “It’s my confident side” in todays Wrestling news

Rhea Ripley claims that the character she portrays in WWE programming is an improved version of her.
Ripley was featured on an Impaulsive episode that aired on Tuesday. During the conversation, she compared her screen persona with her actual self.
She said:
Rhea Ripley resembles me, but I’m the one who would get arrested on a daily basis.
Ripley continued:
Demi Bennett is the confident side of me. Rhea represents the confident side of myself. In everyday life, I’m not quite as confident. I get anxiety and a little bit of everything so sometimes I like to pretend I am Rhea Ripley.
Ripley had been asked earlier in the interview about her relationship to Buddy Matthews, and what he thought of her on-screen romance with Dominik.
She replied:
Few people could have a relationship with someone like that. I doubt I would be able to do it if the roles were reversed. I get really jealous.
Ripley continued:
(Matthews is) so chill about it, and he also loves Dom. Before, they had the storyline where he was dating Aalyah. He doesn’t seem to mind, which is great because it makes life easier at home and at work.
Ripley, when asked who she looked up to as a young girl, first spoke of her mother and then Beth Phoenix.
Ripley said
Beth Phoenix, who is also associated with WWE, would be a great choice. She’s amazing and seeing Beth Phoenix be different at a time when being different was difficult was inspiring.
Ripley said it was “wild” that she could inspire young girls the same way Phoenix did.
One thing I love about my job is hearing people’s stories and how they are inspired to be confident in their bodies.
Ripley was asked to comment on her recent social media activity.
She said:
Sincerity, I don’t think about it much. I hate social media, I’m sorry.
I’m not a fan of social media, but it is a great tool for what we do. We need it. When I’m at home, I try to relax.
Ripley also was asked to provide her with a Mount Rushmore of WWE Women. She replied that she would include Bianca Belair Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in addition to her.
Bianca, love Bianca. Becky. We’re having a fight right now, but I’ll pick Becky. Charlotte, my arch-nemesis.
