Ripley won her Women’s World Championship after defeating Nia in the main Elimination Chamber event. Ripley won the match by hitting Riptide after delivering a superplex at the end of the bout.
Ripley’s mother, father and sister were all in the front row at the main event. Commentators said that Ripley was accompanied by 13 family members.
After the Elimination Chamber, the Women’s World Championship Match for WrestleMania is now set. Ripley will face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania for the title. Lynch defeated Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair in the women’s Elimination Chamber Match on Saturday.
In an emotional interview conducted after the show, Ripley reflected upon her Elimination Chamber return. Ripley also spoke about her upcoming match with Lynch. Ripley said that facing Lynch at WrestleMania was a “bucket-list moment.”
