Dave Meltzer reported Monday that Mysterio had re-signed with his company. PWInsider also reported the same day that Dominik Mysterio re-signed with company, Dominik signing last month.

Rey Mysterio is associated with the WWE intermittently since 2002. He returned to the WWE in 2018 and two years later teamed up with his son Dominik. The two remained a team until last summer when Dominik turned against Rey. This led to a match this year at WrestleMania that Rey won.

Mysterio is currently sidelined due to a knee injury. Santos Escobar, upset at Mysterio’s choice of Carlito after WWE Crown Jewel turned against him and wrote him off.

Dominik Mysterio, who split from his father in 2010, has joined the Judgment Day team, aligning himself closely with Rhea Ripley. He is a former NXT North American champion, having lost the title to Dragon Lee earlier this month at NXT Deadline.
