Gisele Shaw is no longer with TNA Wrestling.
Fightful reports Shaw requested her release from TNA and it was granted on the condition that she worked TNA’s set in Louisville, Kentucky, this past weekend. The report states that TNA “worked seamlessly” to grant Shaw her release and “didn’t put up a battle in keeping [her] around.”
Shaw is one of the talents announced for the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling debut event by Scott D’Amore. The shows, titled “Forged In Excellence”, will take place at St. Clair College, Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday, Oct. 19 and Sunday, Oct. 20.
Shaw competed in a 10-woman match at Revolution Pro Wrestling’s 12th anniversary on August 24.
Shaw was a featured member of TNA/Impact’s Knockouts Division and led a group called the SHAWntourage, where she teamed up with Savannah Evans. Shaw was the very first transgender person to be contracted by the promotion.
