Raquel Rodriguez is listed as being out of action in the WWE internal roster in todays Wrestling news
Since the Raw after Elimination Chamber, Rodriguez hasn’t wrestled.
Raquel Rodriguez is reportedly no longer on the active roster.
Rodriguez has not wrestled since the WWE Raw, on February 26, after the Elimination chamber. PWInsider reports that she’s currently listed as being out of action along with other wrestlers.
It’s unclear what caused Rodriguez to be removed from the active roster, but she posted an image from a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy chamber over the weekend.
Rodriguez has been very open about her struggle with mast cell activation, a condition in which mast cells release an excessive amount of chemicals. This can cause allergy symptoms as well as a variety of other symptoms.
Rodriguez revealed via Instagram that she developed MCAS on the flight from Perth to Elimination Chamber last month. Rodriguez was also out of action from December until mid-February due to the condition.
She wrote:
If you told me on the long flight from Perth to Australia that it would blow up my face and turn me the color of my pink satin pillowcase (it might have been my makeup on Monday as well) I still would have jumped on the flight! My trip may not have gone as planned, but I am still learning about my new body. It’s a big part of my job as a female wrestler for WWE to sit in the makeup chair and get dolled up with our amazing makeup crew, who I love. It’s just part of being a woman. It’s all part of being a girl. At the end of night, I am proud that I did it Alicia Keys-style. Even if the trip didn’t turn out as planned, I am grateful to have been in Elimination chamber in Perth Australia along with 5 other talented ladies! And I got to hug a koala bear so it was a win for me thank you so much to the lovely Vanessa of @lymphaticmassageperth for seeing me last minute 3 times to help me feel my best for the chamber. Your kindness, grace and knowledge were a blessing
