The Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Series was given to Paul Walter Hauser on Monday for his role as Black Bird. Hauser rapped during his acceptance speech and claimed that he was “about” to beat Matt Cardona, as the two will be facing off at a Pro Wrestling Revolver on March 16. Hauser also mentioned Kota Ibushi and “getting tables” in his speech. DDP was thanked in a textbox.
Jeff Jarrett and Sonjay Dutt attacked Hauser on AEW Rampage, where he also won a Golden Globe award for his role in Black Bird. Jarrett, Lethal and Sonjay Dutt carried what they claimed was Hauser’s Golden Globe to the ring in the weeks that followed the attack.
In November, Hauser won his first match in the ring at a Wrestling Revolver show in Los Angeles.
