Paul Walter Hauser won the second pro wrestling match of his career.
The Emmy Award-winning actor defeated Matt Cardona in Saturday’s Wrestling Revolver Ready or Not. The match was between Bully Ray and Cardona manager Steph De Lander. Ray came to Hauser’s aid at the end of the match, putting Cardona into a flaming desk that allowed Hauser the win.
After the match, Hauser made a promo in which he said that he may be from Hollywood but he is a pro wrestling fan. He then asked Bully Ray whether he could compete with Sami Callihan. Callihan, who was angry at Ray’s answer, came out and accepted Hauser’s challenge to a match which will take place in Philadelphia during WrestleMania Weekend.
In the last year, Hauser has won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his role in Black Bird. Hauser even mentioned Cardona in his Emmys acceptance address. In November, he won his first wrestling match by defeating Matthew Palmer in another Wrestling Revolver show.
