Pat McAfee is returning to Raw next week.
Michael Cole announced McAfee’s return to Raw on Monday. The show will be held in Ottawa, Canada, next week. Cole was joined by Corey Graves, a member of the SmackDown broadcast team.
This is the second time in a row that McAfee was absent due to the sudden passing of his father in law, who had been in the hospital fighting an infection when he took a turn for worse.
The Miz took on the announcing duties for Cole during last week’s Raw, until it came time to compete in a match to win the World Tag Team titles. Cole was left to call the action. Miz and R Truth lost the titles to Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
McAfee, who was a surprise entry in the Royal Rumble at which he competed, returned to WWE commentary after taking a break from WWE last fall. He joined the Raw brand, along with Cole, as a full time commentator.
