Two of the biggest NJPW stars will be in Las Vegas for the month of January.

Kazuchika Ospreay, the IWGP U.S. champion and upcoming free agent of NJPW, will face TNA’s next opponent in the first Impact/TNA match for him since 2011.

Okada, Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin will be joining forces with Motor City Machine Guns to take on Moose and Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards in the Hard to Kill TV taping.

After the show, Ospreay was announced to have a rematch against former Impact World Champion Josh Alexander at the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, on Sunday, 14th January.

It’s possible that it was not a coincidence that Okada played Shelley on an episode TNA Explosion in June 2011. Since then, a few things have changed including Okada’s legendary run in NJPW and Shelley being the current Impact World Champion.

Ospreay first met Alexander at the post-Bound For Glory TV taping that took place in October, when Ospreay left with his hand raised. Ospreay signed a contract in February 2024 with AEW. Okada’s NJPW contract expires in February.
