The United States title match at SummerSlam has been officially announced.
Logan Paul has agreed to defend his title against LA Knight at SmackDown on August 3. This comes after the contract signing on Friday’s episode.
Paul initially balked when the idea of defending his title against Knight was raised. Knight was called Shaun by Paul, who told him he wasn’t “him”. He also accused Knight of copying The Rock. Knight responded by saying that Paul’s younger brother Jake had the courage to take on Mike Tyson, but Logan did not. Knight responded by saying that Paul’s brother Jake had the balls to face Mike Tyson, but Logan didn’t have the balls to face Knight.
Knight has been trying in recent weeks to get Paul’s attention, including showing up at Paul’s house in Puerto Rico to try and get a United States championship match.
