The International title match of AEW Revolution has begun.
Cassidy accepted Roderick Strong’s challenge at AEW Dynamite after he challenged Orange Cassidy last week. Their match is set for March 3, in Greensboro North Carolina. Cassidy, however, said he would not wait until then as he will continue to defend his International title.
Adam Cole, Undisputed Kingdom leader, has stated that Strong’s goal is to win the International title. Cassidy immediately offered Strong a title fight after Strong’s challenge last week. Strong refused the idea of a title match impromptu, saying that he’d rather wait until Revolution.
Wardlow defeated Cassidy Best Friends stablemate Trent Beretta on Wednesday’s Dynamite. Cole stopped Wardlow from attacking Beretta after the match. Cassidy was trying to recover in the ring when Beretta shoved him. He quickly apologized.
